Construction! How to Get to Knit-O-Matic
We are located at
1378 Bathurst St, 2
blocks south of St. Clair Avenue. Due to construction on Bathurst Street Between
St. Clair Ave and Dupont Ave traffic on Bathurst will be slow and the bus
service will be diverted.

There is free Parking on the side streets North and South of the Store, Alcina and Helena.

By Subway
Everything is fine with the Subway! Take the TTC to St. Clair West station (on
the university line). Walk 1 block West (uphill) to Bathurst, then walk 2 blocks
South (downhill) on St. Clair.
By Bus - Coming from South of St. Clair Ave (has
been very slow, we don't recommend taking it)
From Bathurst Station take the 7B bus
north. The bus is being detoured, so get off at Vaughan Road (at the eye glasses
store). Walk south (downhill) on Vaughan rd 1 block until it becomes Bathurst
St. Keep walking 1/2 block and you're here!
Note: while on detour the 7B bus from Bathurst Station
will not continue north of St. Clair, it pulls into St. Clair West station and
then returns south.
By Bus - Coming from North of St. Clair Ave
Take the 7C bus on Bathurst south. Get off at St. Clair (the stop right
before the station) and walk south for 2 blocks. If you accidentally pull into
the station don't worry, just walk 1 block West (uphill) to Bathurst, then walk
2 blocks South (downhill) on St. Clair.
Note: while on detour the 7C bus only runs between
Steeles Ave and St. Clair West Station.
By Car
During construction Bathurst St. is still open but traffic may be slow. We
suggest you avoid the intersections of Bathurst & St. Clair and Bathurst & Dupont.
Coming from South West of Bathurst & Dupont
Take Christie to Davenport Rd, travel East on Davenport to Bathurst St, travel
North on Bathurst until the street lights, turn left onto the first side street
North of the lights (Alcina). There is free parking on Alcina and Helena, the
street north of Alcina.
Coming from South East of Bathurst & Dupont
Take Davenport Rd to Bathurst St, travel North on Bathurst until the street
lights, turn left onto the first side street North of the lights (Alcina). There
is free parking on Alcina and Helena, the street north of Alcina.
Coming from North of Bathurst & St. Clair
Travel south on Bathurst St south to Claxton Blvd (the street with the gates
that is right before the gas station), right onto Claxton and travel 2 blocks
until you come to the round intersection, turn left and travel a block to the
next street, turn left onto Vaughan Rd. Travel South on Vaughan, cross the
lights at St. Clair and continue until you reach the stop sign where Vaughan
joins Bathurst. Turn Right onto either the first or second side streets, Helena
or Alcina.
Coming from the North East... A Fussy but Rarely Traveled Route
Take St. Clair to Loblaws and make a left in the special left turn lane (in the
middle of the street) on to Wells Ave (beside the park), wells will split in
three directions, take the middle street 1 block, turn right at Nina and drive
to the lights at Bathurst. Either park on Nina and cross Bathurst to us or drive
to the opposite side street and park on Alcina.
